Eragon Series on Disney+ Progresses with Talented Showrunner

Disney+ is gearing up to bring the beloved young adult fantasy series, The Inheritance Cycle, to life with their upcoming show, Eragon. Exciting news in the production process has fans buzzing with anticipation.

With a strong creative team in place, including showrunner Todd Harthan from the Disney+ series High Potential, and co-creators Christopher Paolini, Todd Helbing (Superman & Lois), and executive producer Marc Webb (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Eragon is in good hands.

The writers’ room for the show opened up late last year and is currently hard at work bringing this magical world to the screen.

Produced under a deal with 20th Television and producer Bert Salke’s Co-Lab 21 banner, Eragon is part of a larger plan to adapt the entire Inheritance Cycle series for Disney+. Each season will take on a different book from the series, mirroring the successful approach taken with the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series currently in production in Vancouver.

The future looks bright for Eragon and fans of The Inheritance Cycle, as Disney+ continues to bring new and exciting stories to life on the streaming platform.
