Big Bang Theory spin-off: First-Look Trailer Release
HBO Max has just dropped the first trailer for its new comedy series, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, and it promises an epic multiverse adventure. The show, which is a spin-off of the popular series The Big Bang Theory, is set to premiere on Friday, July 24th on HBO Max, with a new episode airing every Thursday.
The series follows Stuart Bloom, the owner of a comic book store that Sheldon and Leonard frequently visited in The Big Bang Theory. When Stuart accidentally triggers a multiverse catastrophe by breaking a device created by Sheldon and Leonard, he must team up with his girlfriend Denise, geologist friend Bert, and quantum physicist Barry Kripke to save reality. Along the way, they encounter alternate versions of beloved characters from The Big Bang Theory.
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe stars Kevin Sussman, Brian Posehn, and Lauren Lapkus in the lead roles. The trailer sets the stage for a wild ride, with Stuart being dubbed the “chosen one” tasked with fixing things, despite not having a clear plan.
Fans can also expect exciting cameos from Christine Baranski, Riki Lindhome, and Teller. The series is created, written, and executive produced by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, along with screenwriter Zak Penn (known for The Avengers).
