Peacock orders live-action Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Seth MacFarlane

Peacock has exciting news for fans of the “LitRPG” phenomenon as they have officially ordered a TV series based on the book series “Dungeon Crawler Carl” by Matt Dinniman. The show, brought to life by Seth MacFarlane’s production company Fuzzy Door Productions, will be led by showrunner Chris Yost, known for his work on hits like “Star Wars: Maul” and “Thor: Ragnarok.”

The series follows an average hero who finds himself trapped in a video game-like dungeon with his talking cat companion after a catastrophic event on Earth. With a mix of comedy, adventure, and satire, Dinniman’s work has captivated audiences worldwide with its unique storytelling.
