Peacock Orders ‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ TV Series
Peacock has officially given the green light to the TV adaptation of the popular book “Dungeon Crawler Carl” by author Matt Dinniman. The series is being produced by Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door and Universal Global Television. Back in April, Variety reported that the show had found its home on Peacock.
Chris Yost, known for his work on “The Mandalorian,” is signed on as the writer and executive producer. Dinniman will also be involved as a non-writing co-executive producer. MacFarlane will be an executive producer, along with Erica Huggins and Rachel Hargreaves-Heald from Fuzzy Door.
The project, based on Matt Dinniman’s book series, was first picked up by Universal International Studios in early 2025. However, at that time, no network or streaming platform was attached to the project.
In a social media post, Dinniman expressed his excitement about the series moving forward, along with Yost and MacFarlane. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks, and if you’re attending SDCC, catch Dinniman and Yost at their DCC panel. It’s all about to get real!
