Disney+ and Dutch Public Broadcaster NPO collaborate on adaptation ‘Wolven’ for local audience.

In a lovely partnership, Disney+ and Dutch public broadcasting system NPO are teaming up to bring the Dutch version of the unscripted strategy-driven reality series “Wolven: het spel van list en bedrog” to the Netherlands. Known internationally as “Werewolves,” this exciting show is set in a remote forest village, where a group of strangers, called the Villagers, compete for a prize. But hidden among them are the tricky Werewolves, trying to eliminate players one by one and take home the prize.

This format is part of Banijay Entertainment’s fantastic portfolio, with adaptations happening in various countries like the U.S., Australia, Spain, and more. You can catch “Wolven” on BNNVARA on NPO 1 starting from August 29th, and it will also be available to stream on NPO Start and Disney+ simultaneously, with new episodes airing weekly.
