Tom Hardy exits MobLand before Season 2 premiere

Tom Hardy fans, a piece of news about our favorite MobLand star: he has reportedly exited the show ahead of its Season 2 premiere. It looks like Hardy won’t be returning as Harry Da Souza if the series gets renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+, according to sources from Variety.

Reportedly, the 48-year-old actor had some onset issues with executive producer Jez Butterworth and 101 Studios and also clashed with his co-stars, as mentioned by Deadline. However, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that while there were reports of conflicts on set, it’s still uncertain what Hardy’s future with the show will be.

Fans of MobLand can expect Season 2, which wrapped up filming in March, to premiere in the fall. The crime drama follows Hardy as Da Souza, a fixer for the London-based Harrigan crime family, led by Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren. Following its success with over 26 million viewers in its first season, the show was renewed for a second season back in June 2025. Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Jasmine Jobson, and Mandeep Dhillon also star in the series.

For those eagerly awaiting the return of MobLand, stay tuned for more updates as the situation unfolds.
