Tom Hardy set to return in ‘MobLand’ as Paramount+ eyes Season 3 renewal

Tom Hardy is making a comeback in the popular Paramount+ series “MobLand,” with Season 3 renewal on the horizon. There were some earlier rumors about Hardy’s departure from the show, but it seems like any on-set issues have been ironed out, and he is now set to reprise his role.

While the future of “MobLand” is looking bright, as it also features Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan, the official green light for Season 3 is still pending from Paramount+.

Initially, reports in late May suggested Hardy might not be returning due to disagreements with executive producer Jez Butterworth and 101 Studios. However, subsequent reports indicated that talks were underway to bring Hardy back if the show was renewed for a third season.

After a meeting in London between Hardy, Butterworth, and producer David Glasser, any misunderstandings were cleared up, paving the way for Hardy’s return to the series, as reported by various media outlets.

Although there is no official word yet from Hardy, 101 Studios, or Paramount+, things are looking up for “MobLand” fans. In the midst of all the rumors, co-star Helen Mirren expressed her support for Hardy on social media, showing solidarity in difficult times.

In “MobLand,” Hardy plays the role of Harry Da Souza, a fixer for a London crime family. Alongside Hardy, Mirren, and Brosnan, the show boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Created by Ronan Bennett, the series premiered in March 2025 and was renewed for a second season in June the same year.

Fans eagerly await the news of Season 3 and are excited to see what twists and turns lie ahead for “MobLand.”
