Casper Live-Action Series in Development on Disney+
terrorize people for fun. Created in 1945, Casper has a long history in animated specials, TV shows, and comics, with a 1995 live-action film that is considered a ’90s classic. The new series will be written and directed by Rob Letterman and Hilary Winston, with Steven Spielberg serving as an executive producer.
Despite Disney winning the series in a bidding war, there has not yet been a full series order given for Casper. Fans will have to wait and see how development progresses to find out if the friendly ghost will be floating back to TV screens soon and how this darker take on the character will be handled.
