Disney+ hit a home run with its comedy series “Alice and Steve,” which cleaned up at Canneseries, taking home the best series award, as well as a Special Interpretation and a Student Award. This show is a product of Disney’s U.K. division and part of their comedy lineup, led by creator Sophie Goodhart known for her work on “Sex Education.” Produced by Clerkenwell Films, “Alice and Steve” was a top contender in the Canneseries main competition.
