“Ted Lasso Season 2 Premiere Planned for Summer”

Fans of the hit Apple TV series “Ted Lasso” can rejoice because the show is coming back this summer! Set to return in August, the streamer has confirmed the much-anticipated continuation of the series.

Starring Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, the show follows the journey of a Kansas football coach who takes on the challenge of coaching soccer in England. Besides his acting role, Sudeikis also serves as an executive producer alongside Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel.

For the upcoming season four, Ted will be coaching a second-division women’s football team in Richmond, facing his biggest challenge yet. The season promises to bring new adventures and growth for Ted and his team as they learn to take bold chances.

Returning to their roles are Sudeikis and his former castmates Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift. Joining them are some new faces like Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.

Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on August 5 with one episode, followed by new episodes released every Wednesday until October 7. Since its debut on Apple TV+ in 2020, “Ted Lasso” quickly became a fan favorite, breaking records and earning numerous Emmy Award nominations.
