Orangutan: Narrated by Josh Gad, Coming to Disney+ for Earth Day
On Earth Day, Disney+ is bringing you a heartwarming new documentary from Disneynature called “Orangutan,” narrated by the one and only Josh Gad. Get ready to meet Indah the orangutan and be inspired by her story.
“Orangutan” will start streaming exclusively on Disney+ this Earth Day, April 22. You can catch a sneak peek by watching the trailer below.
Disneynature, Disney’s film studio dedicated to nature documentaries, has been captivating audiences since its establishment in 2008. The studio gained popularity after the success of “March of the Penguins,” a French documentary distributed by Disney’s Buena Vista International France.
Each year, Disneynature releases a new film around Earth Day, and they have a fantastic lineup on Disney+. Recent releases include “Sea Lions of the Galapagos” narrated by Brendan Fraser, “Tiger” narrated by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, “Polar Bear” narrated by Catherine Keener, and “Elephant” narrated by Meghan Markle. In 2017, they even brought us “March of the Penguins 2: The Next Step.”
Notably, in 2014, renowned primatologist Jane Goodall was named Disneynature ambassador. She played a pivotal role in films like “Chimpanzee” (2012) before her passing, leaving an enduring legacy.
