Makeup and Hairstylists Guild Winners Announced

The Makeup and Hairstylists Guild recently announced the winners of their 13th Annual MUAHS Awards, and there are some familiar names among the winners. Two films that also received Oscar nominations, Frankenstein and Sinners, took home awards in various categories.

In the category of Feature-Length Motion Picture, the winners were as follows:
– Best Contemporary Make-Up: One Battle After Another
– Best Period and/or Character Make-Up: Sinners
– Best Special Make-Up Prosthetics: Frankenstein
– Best Contemporary Hair Styling: One Battle After Another
– Best Period and/or Character Hair Styling: Sinners

Moving on to the Television Series category, the winners were:
– Best Contemporary Make-Up: The Studio
– Best Period and/or Character Make-Up: Palm Royale
– Best Special Make-Up Prosthetics: Stranger Things: Season 5
– Best Contemporary Hair Styling: The Studio
– Best Period and/or Character Hair Styling: Palm Royale

In the Children and Teen Television category, Skeleton Crew took home awards for Best Make-Up and Best Hair Styling. The commercials and music video categories also had winners, with Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” and Walmart’s “WhoKnewVille” Holiday Campaign snagging awards for Best Make-Up and Best Hair Styling, respectively.

Lastly, live theatrical productions like The Monkey King and Frankenstein were recognized for their exceptional Make-Up and Hair Styling in the California Regional Live Theater Production and Broadway and International Live Theater Production categories.
