Disney Plus & Hulu Attempting Guinness World Record for Home Alone Anniversary

Disney+ and Hulu are celebrating the 35th anniversary of ‘Home Alone’ in a massive way—by attempting a Guinness World Record! They’re constructing an impressive 25.6-foot-tall gingerbread replica of the iconic McCallister home in L.A., which will stretch 58 feet long and 42 feet wide.

This record-breaking project will require a whopping 5,700 pounds of flour, over 4,200 eggs, 4,400 gingerbread bricks, 800 roof tiles, 20 gallons of edible glue, and 20 pounds of fondant. To give you an idea of what to expect, they previously had a talented food artist create a smaller-scale version for the 30th anniversary, and the level of detail was truly amazing!
