Disney+ and Hulu Break Guinness World Record for Largest Gingerbread House

Disney has really outdone themselves this time! They just created the world’s largest gingerbread house to celebrate “Home Alone” on Disney+ and Hulu, and it’s truly remarkable. They designed it to look just like the iconic McCallister home, and it’s massive – measuring 34 feet long, 58 feet wide, and over 22 feet tall.

This holiday masterpiece was put together in just 8 days and is made up of 4,200 gingerbread brick tiles and almost 1,800 roof tiles. Can you believe that it took 7,350 pounds of all-purpose flour and over 6,600 eggs to make this gingerbread house? That’s a lot of baking! And to hold it all together, they used 20 gallons of edible glue and topped it off with 10 pounds of fondant.

The Guinness World Records judge was there to witness this culinary feat and officially declared it the largest gingerbread house ever, measuring a whopping 44,838 cubic feet. If you’re in the area, you can check it out in person tonight, December 19, 2025, from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Hollywood & Vine (6301 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028). And if you’re feeling generous, you can bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots while you’re there.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of “Home Alone,” and you can binge-watch the entire franchise on Disney+ and Hulu. Have you revisited “Home Alone” this year yet? Let me know what you think on social media!
