25-Foot Gingerbread House Inspired by ‘Home Alone’ Appears in Los Angeles

Disney+ and Hulu have teamed up to create a real-life celebration of the movie “Home Alone.” They’ve broken a Guinness World Record by unveiling a massive gingerbread house installation in North Hollywood. The incredible house is located at the corner of Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles, designed to resemble the iconic McAllister home from the films. You can’t miss it! The installation will be around for one more night, tonight, Friday, Dec. 19th, 2025.

This gingerbread masterpiece stands at a whopping 25.6 feet tall, 58 feet long, and 42 feet wide, making it the largest gingerbread house on record. According to a press release from Disney+, this sweet structure was created with a staggering 5,700 pounds of flour and over 4,200 eggs. Can you believe it? The house is made up of 4,400 gingerbread brick tiles, 800 roof tiles, and held together with 20 gallons of edible glue. To top it off, it’s decorated with 20 pounds of fondant, giving it a festive and delicious touch.

But the magic doesn’t stop there! Visitors to this gingerbread wonderland are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate in person to Toys for Tots. It’s a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer and give back to those in need.

This stunning gingerbread house breaks the previous Guinness World Record set back in 2013 in Texas. The previous record-holder measured 60 feet long, 42 feet wide, and 10.1 feet tall. But the LA gingerbread house has beaten this with its impressive size and attention to detail.
