Disney+ and CJ ENM’s Tving Form Groundbreaking Streaming Partnership in Korea
Exciting news for streaming fans in Korea! Disney and Tving have just launched a groundbreaking partnership, making it the first collaboration between a global streamer and a local Ott platform in the country. This move strengthens Disney’s connection with Korean studio giant Cj Enm’s streaming business and comes hot on the heels of their recent distribution agreement in Japan.
As part of this new partnership, Disney+ is offering bundled subscription plans that give users access to Disney+, Tving, and domestic streamer Wavve at discounted rates. In fact, subscribers can save up to 37 percent compared to individual subscriptions. These bundles are already available to Korean viewers, showcasing a mix of Disney’s world-renowned content and top Korean shows from Tving, Wavve, and Cj Enm.
This collaboration follows Disney’s recent content deal in Japan, solidifying their presence in the Asian streaming market. With more innovative partnerships like these, the streaming landscape is continuously evolving, providing viewers with a wider range of choices and content to enjoy.
