HBO Max Dominates 2026 Emmy Nominations
HBO Max has snagged the spotlight with the 2026 Emmy nominations, showcasing a stellar lineup of talent that includes some exciting newcomers and established favorites.
This year’s Comedy category saw Hacks make history with a whopping 24 nominations, breaking the previous record. On the Drama side, The Pitt took the lead with an impressive 25 nominations.
The announcements took place at the Wolf Theatre in the Saban Media Center, where live hosts Liza Colón-Zayas, Jeff Hiller, and Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego shared the exciting news.
Familiar faces like Steve Carell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Harrison Ford, Lisa Kudrow, Gary Oldman, and Michelle Pfeiffer made the cut, alongside a fresh crop of talent including Taylor Dearden, Chase Infiniti, Sarah Pidgeon, and Connor Storrie.
Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego praised this year’s nominees for their creativity and artistry, noting the diverse range of genres and storytelling on display.
Notable this year are 28 first-time performer nominees across various categories, adding a new dimension to the talent pool.
The nominations also highlight multitalented individuals, with names like Jason Bateman, Quinta Brunson, and Noah Wyle grabbing multiple nods across different roles and projects. The lineup is stacked with performers showcasing their versatility as actors, writers, directors, and producers.
