NASCAR Cup Series Partnership with TNT and HBO Max Begins New Chapter

This weekend marks the beginning of a new chapter for the NASCAR Cup Series championship, as races will now be broadcast on TNT and HBO Max. This change follows a five-week period of coverage on Prime Video, which wrapped up with the thrilling race at the San Diego Street Course at Coronado naval base.

Fans can look forward to upcoming races at iconic tracks such as Sonoma, Chicagoland, Atlanta, North Wilkesboro, and The Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis. These races will be available for live viewing on TNT and streaming on HBO Max, where you can catch all the action, including onboard cameras for every race weekend.

In addition to live race broadcasts, practice and qualifying sessions will also be aired on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max. Exclusive content like onboard cameras during race day and team radio waves will continue to be featured on HBO Max.

The commentary team for this new stage will be familiar to viewers, with Adam Alexander leading the pack, accompanied by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and race engineer Steve Letarte. Pre- and post-race shows will feature Jamie McMurray alongside Earnhardt and Letarte, with Marty Smith handling the presentation.

Exciting additions to the team include Jeff Burton as an analyst for the Chicagoland and Atlanta races, and Jimmie Johnson joining in for the Sonoma, North Wilkesboro, and Indianapolis races. Pit reporters Shannon Spake, Danielle Trotta, and Marty Snider will provide updates, with Mamba Smith serving as a special correspondent.

On top of all this, TNT will be introducing a new $1 Million Challenge during the season, where the winning driver will walk away with a million-dollar prize. Viewers can also participate by trying to predict the race sheet and have a shot at winning the same prize. Last year, Ty Gibbs emerged victorious in the challenge, with Ty Dillon as the unexpected finalist.
