Kevin McKidd Joins Elisabeth Moss in Hulu Legal Drama Conviction

Kevin McKidd is stepping into the world of Hulu’s legal drama “Conviction” alongside Elisabeth Moss. The show centers around attorney Neve Harper, played by Moss, as she takes on a career-defining murder case involving a husband accused of killing his wife in a house fire. The plot thickens when a mysterious stranger starts to blackmail Neve, forcing her to make difficult compromises to win the case and protect her secrets from being revealed.

While McKidd’s role in the series is being kept secret, he joins a talented cast that includes Linda Emond, Jimmi Simpson, Sebastian De Souza, and others. “Conviction” is based on the novel by Jack Jordan and received the green light from Hulu earlier this year in February. The show is led by showrunner David Shore, known for his work on “House” and “The Good Doctor,” with Moss and Lindsey McManus serving as executive producers alongside other industry veterans.

Fans might recognize McKidd from his long-running role on “Grey’s Anatomy” as Owen Hunt, a character he portrayed for 18 years. His diverse credits include appearances in productions like “Trainspotting” with Ewan McGregor and HBO’s “Rome.” With a strong ensemble cast and a compelling storyline, “Conviction” promises to deliver an engaging and suspenseful experience for viewers.
