Elisabeth Moss stars in new legal drama ‘Conviction’ on Hulu
Elisabeth Moss is set to take the lead in Hulu’s upcoming legal drama, “Conviction,” marking her return to the platform after her successful run on “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The show, based on Jack Jordan’s 2023 novel, follows the story of Neve Harper, a determined defense attorney played by Moss. When Neve lands a crucial murder case, things take a dark turn as she becomes the target of blackmail, forcing her to confront her own hidden past.
In “Conviction,” Moss will portray Neve Harper, a defense attorney faced with a career-defining case involving a high-profile murder where the husband is accused of a deadly crime. As a mysterious figure starts blackmailing Neve, she is pushed to bend her legal and moral boundaries in order to secure an acquittal without exposing her own secrets.
The series is spearheaded by David Shore, the creative mind behind hits like “House” and “The Good Doctor.” Moss, along with Warren Littlefield and Bert Salke, serves as executive producer, with production handled by 20th Television.
“Conviction” is another exciting project for Moss on Hulu, where she is also involved in executive producing “The Testaments,” the sequel to “The Handmaid’s Tale. Additionally, viewers can catch Moss in Apple TV’s “Imperfect Women,” alongside Kerry Washington and Kata Mara, which premiered in March.
