UFC Freedom 250 Draws Record-Breaking 17 Million Viewers, Largest Paramount+ Live Event
The “UFC Freedom 250” event made waves on Paramount+ by drawing in the biggest audience for a live event to date. The White House-hosted spectacle, which took place to mark the 250th birthday of the United States and coincided with President Donald Trump’s birthday, attracted a total of 17 million viewers on Paramount+.
In the U.S., the event had an average viewership of 15.3 million, while in Latin America, it averaged 1.7 million viewers. The event also had an impressive live average minute audience of 8.2 million over seven bouts, with 7 million viewers tuning in from the U.S. and 1.2 million from Latin America. These numbers exclude any delayed viewership.
“UFC Freedom 250” became the largest exclusive live event in Paramount+ history, surpassing the previous record set by UFC 324 in January. In 2026 alone, 16 million subscriber households have watched over 180 million hours of UFC programming on Paramount+.
The event was available for streaming exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Latin America, without the additional pay-per-view cost usually associated with UFC numbered event main cards. The UFC is expected to share viewership data from other regions soon.
This event marked the sixth event in a seven-year partnership between UFC and Paramount+, with Canada set to join in 2027. Despite taking place on Trump’s birthday and transforming the White House lawn into a fighting ring, the event sparked some controversy when UFC fighter Josh Hokit made inappropriate comments about former First Lady Michelle Obama during a post-fight interview.
