“UFC Freedom 250 Sets New Viewership Record on Paramount+ in United States”
A whopping seventeen million fans from the United States and Latin America tuned in to watch UFC Freedom 250, making it the most-watched exclusive live event in Paramount+ history. This thrilling spectacle took place on the White House South Lawn and captivated audiences with its intense matchups.
According to Nielsen, 15.26 million viewers in the U.S. were glued to their screens during UFC Freedom 250, while an additional 1.67 million viewers from Latin America joined in on the action, as reported by Adobe Analytics. The event, headlined by Justin Gaethje’s surprising victory over Ilia Topuria, pulled in an impressive average of 8.2 million viewers across both regions.
Stay tuned for announcements from UFC about viewership numbers from other parts of the world in the coming week. This achievement comes on the heels of UFC’s debut on Paramount+ five months ago, with UFC 324 headlined by Gaethje also breaking records as the largest exclusive live event at that time.
The seven-fight main card of UFC Freedom 250 made history as every fight on the card ended via knockout or technical knockout—a first for a UFC event. Gaethje’s electrifying performance earned him $825,000 in post-fight bonuses, while Topuria and interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane each took home approximately $400,000.
For fans in the United States and Latin America, every UFC event is available on Paramount+. Additionally, select events can also be viewed in Australia. Starting in 2027, Canadian fans can catch all UFC numbered events exclusively on Paramount+. Exciting times ahead for UFC and its global fan base!
