UFC White House Card Garners 17 Million Viewers in U.S. and Latin America on Paramount+
The UFC White House card set a new record for Paramount+ with 17 million viewers tuning in across the U.S. and Latin America. This marked the biggest exclusive live event in Paramount+ history, drawing an average of 8.2 million viewers across both markets. The UFC CEO Dana White expressed his excitement over the early numbers, reaching over 15 million viewers in the U.S. alone.
For a bit of comparison, the first UFC card on FOX had 5.7 million viewers on average in the U.S., peaking at 8.8 million viewers. However, the recent MVP MMA card featuring Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano scored even higher, averaging 9.3 million U.S. viewers and peaking at 11.6 million viewers.
It’s worth noting that Netflix boasts 325 million global subscribers while Paramount+ has 79 million subscribers. The UFC, now in a seven-year, $7.7 billion deal with Paramount, airs all events on the platform, including those previously available as pay-per-views, at no extra cost to subscribers.
