Paramount and UFC to Expand Media Rights Partnership to Canada in 2027

Paramount and UFC have joined forces to expand their media rights partnership into Canada starting in 2027. This new deal will make Paramount+ the exclusive home for UFC Numbered Event main cards in Canada for the next six years. Subscribers to Paramount+ in Canada will have access to all 13 UFC Numbered Event main cards each year, live and at no extra cost.

This partnership builds on the already existing seven-year, multi-territory agreement between Paramount and UFC that was established in 2025, covering regions such as North America, Latin America, and Australia. Dana White, the President and CEO of UFC, expressed his excitement, stating, “Paramount has been an incredible partner that understands the power of UFC, and together we’re going to make it easier than ever for fans in Canada to watch the biggest fights in the sport.”

Rodrigo Mazón, Head of Direct-To-Consumer for Latin America and Canada at Paramount+, highlighted the significance of this expansion, saying, “UFC is one of the most dynamic live sports properties in the world, and we are thrilled to bring Paramount+ subscribers in Canada into the Octagon in 2027 for no additional cost.” This move aligns with Paramount+’s commitment to providing premium live sports and globally relevant entertainment to its audience.

Fans can expect more details regarding the first UFC events to be streamed on Paramount+ in Canada to be announced later in 2026. This collaboration aims to offer an enhanced viewing experience for MMA enthusiasts in Canada, bringing them closer to the action than ever before. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting development in the world of sports streaming entertainment.
