Paramount+ to Extend UFC Live Streaming Rights to Canada from 2027

Paramount+ has exciting news for UFC fans in Canada! The streaming service has just expanded its media rights partnership with the UFC to bring exclusive live coverage of the UFC main cards to Canada starting in 2027. These main cards, also known as UFC Numbered Events, feature championship bouts and showcase the biggest stars in mixed martial arts.

This new partnership means that UFC fans across Canada will have access to all 13 marquee UFC main cards live, at no extra cost. This extension builds upon Paramount’s existing seven-year, multi-territory media rights deal with the UFC that was announced back in 2025.

The debut of UFC on Paramount+ earlier this year in the United States and Latin America was a huge success, becoming the platform’s most significant exclusive live event to date. Over 10 million households have already tuned in to watch more than 100 million hours of UFC programming on Paramount+—that’s 15 times more than the average pay-per-view event over the past couple of years.

Rodrigo Mazón, the head of direct-to-consumer for Latin America and Canada at Paramount+, expressed his excitement about this expanded partnership, saying, “Expanding our UFC partnership into Canada lets us serve a deeply engaged MMA audience.”

While no specific details have been announced yet, Paramount+ promises to reveal more information about the first UFC events to stream live in Canada later this year. UFC CEO Dana White also shared his enthusiasm, stating, “Paramount has been an incredible partner that understands the power of UFC, and together we’re going to make it easier than ever for fans in Canada to watch the biggest fights in the sport.”

So, if you’re a UFC fan in Canada, get ready to enjoy top-notch live UFC action right in the comfort of your own home starting in 2027, thanks to Paramount+!
