Prime Video’s Entry into Short-Form Video Feeds

Amazon is making some changes to Prime Video, rolling out a new Clips feature that turns the platform into a TikTok-like experience. Now, you can find short video clips from Prime Video content that you can share and engage with on your mobile device. This new feature is kicking off with NBA games but will expand to include shows like The Boys and other Prime originals.

To access the Clips feed, scroll down on the home page until you reach the Clips carousel. From there, you can tap any clip to watch it. If you’re feeling generous, you can share Clips with other users by simply copying and pasting a link. Users can also like Clips or use them as a direct way to jump into the show or movie featured in the video snippet.

Currently, this new feature is being tested with “select customers” in the United States on Android, iOS, and Fire Tablet devices. The plan is to roll this feature out to more users over the summer, so stay tuned for when it lands on your device!
