Suffolk Week in Pictures: Terror Peacocks and Blooming Buds
Life in Suffolk has been beautifully captured in a series of images this week. From the unique walking lady sign on Norwich Road in Ipswich to a farmer’s chickens being terrorized by a peacock, the county has seen it all. The warm spring weather has brought the flowers into full bloom, and the birds are certainly enjoying it in Waldringfield.
Reginald Wright, who inherited the iconic walking lady sign on Norwich Road from his father, shared his story this week. Meanwhile, in Rushmere Road, spring has definitely sprung with vibrant flowers blooming everywhere.
On a slightly more chaotic note, Farmer Tom Walne had a bit of trouble with a peacock causing chaos among his chickens in Copdock. The mandarin duck at Christchurch Park in Ipswich, however, seems to be having a peaceful time enjoying the pond.
In Newmarket, a parish priest surprised everyone on Thursday with his unexpected side hustle. And in Haverhill, the new padel courts are gearing up for their grand opening next month.
