2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Announced

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame recently revealed its list of 2026 inductees, acknowledging a diverse group of artists who have made a lasting impact on music and culture. This exciting announcement was made live on ABC and Disney+ by Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie, a 2022 inductee, during a special Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-themed episode of “American Idol.” The induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, in Los Angeles and will air on ABC and Disney+ in December.

The 2026 inductees include major artists like Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross, and Wu-Tang Clan. In addition, there are recipients of the Early Influence Award, the Musical Excellence Award, and the Ahmet Ertegun Award. Some notable names in these categories include Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Queen Latifah, and Ed Sullivan.

To be considered for induction, artists must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years before the nomination year. It’s worth noting that Phil Collins, Luther Vandross, and Wu-Tang Clan are first-time nominees, while others like Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, and Oasis have been nominated in the past.

The induction ceremony, celebrating artists whose work has shaped the rock ‘n’ roll landscape, will take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on November 14. The event will be broadcast on ABC and Disney+ in December, followed by a return to Cleveland for the induction ceremony in 2027.

Ticket on-sale details will be shared at a later date, with exclusive opportunities available to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame donors and members. If you’re interested in becoming a part of this exciting community, you can donate or join before June 30 to be eligible for benefits.
