Search Continues for Missing Peacock in Lower Moreland Township
Authorities in Lower Moreland Township are on the hunt for a missing peacock, with the search now in its third day. Residents in the area are being asked to keep an eye out and report any sightings to the police.
The police initially responded to reports of a loose peacock in a residential area near Frederick and Robert roads. Despite their efforts, the peacock has not been captured yet. Wildlife experts believe the peacock may be roaming the area and could return home on its own. If spotted, residents are advised not to try and capture the bird as it may become aggressive during this time of year.
The police are closely monitoring the situation and are asking for the public’s help. If anyone knows the owner of the peacock, they are encouraged to contact the department so they can be reunited with their pet.
If you see the missing peacock, please contact the non-emergency dispatch line at 610-635-4300. The police department is located at 640 Red Lion Road, No. 1, in Huntingdon Valley. For more information, visit crimewatch.net/us/pa/montgomery/lower-moreland-twp-pd/6381.
Let’s all keep an eye out and help bring this beautiful bird safely back home.
