Milo Ventimiglia to Star in HBO Max Cop Drama Pilot ‘American Blue’
Milo Ventimiglia, known for his roles in “This Is Us” and “Gilmore Girls,” is set to star in HBO Max’s upcoming police drama pilot, “American Blue.” The show, created by Jeremy Carver, is focused on an Illinois police force, with Ventimiglia portraying the character Brian “Milk” Milkovich. In the series, Milk returns to his hometown of Joliet, Ill., to help the struggling police department and find his own redemption. Described as a quietly determined, natural-born leader, Milk is seeking a second chance in the place he once left behind, according to HBO.
