Hulu Acquires Watching You from ITV Studios: Lingo Pictures Global Deal

Lingo Pictures, a part of ITV Studios, recently revealed that Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in EMEA have picked up their gripping six-part thriller, Watching You, in a globally inclusive deal. This exciting news was brokered by ITV Studios and heralds the debut of the series on February 20th.

Aisha Dee, known for her work on “The Bold Type” and “Safe Home,” takes the lead in an outstanding performance in Watching You. The series also features Josh Helman from “Mad Max: Fury Road” and Luke Cook from “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” Based on J.P. Pomare’s best-selling novel, The Last Guests, Watching You is a thrilling saga that delves into privacy, relationships, technology, and human nature.

Creative minds Alexei Mizin and Ryan van Dijk have adapted the show for television, with Jason Stephens and Bree-Anne Sykes producing for Lingo Pictures. Helen Bowden serves as the executive producer. The series is directed by Peter Salmon and Sian Davies, and it’s proudly brought to audiences as a Stan Original Series in association with ITV Studios.

After all the hard work, Jason Stephens from Lingo Pictures expressed deep pride in the show, highlighting that it’s a significant moment for the Australian industry as they share their stories with a global audience. The series has received a major production investment from Stan with principal support from Screen Australia and Screen NSW.
