Hulu acquires psychological thriller Watching You in multi-territory agreement with ITV Studios

Hulu recently made a big move by securing the psychological thriller Watching You in a multi-territory deal with ITV Studios. This means that if you’re in the U.S., you can catch the show on Hulu, while viewers in EMEA and the UK will be able to watch it on Disney+.

The deal doesn’t stop there, though. As part of this agreement, Hulu will not only be bringing Watching You to American audiences, but they have also locked in renewals for popular shows like “Love Island” and Gordon Ramsay’s cooking series.

In addition to the scripted drama, Hulu is expanding its non-scripted content with shows like Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares from ITV America. They’ve also acquired the thrilling series Malpractice from World Productions and a selection of classic mystery shows from ITV Studios’ Agatha Christie collection.

But that’s not all. Hulu is keeping things interesting with renewals from VICE, including fan-favorites like Dark Side of Comedy, Dark Side of the 2000s, Dark Side of the Ring, and F*ck, That’s Delicious. Plus, they’ll be diving into untold stories from MMA icons in Dark Side of the Cage.

With a global premiere set for February 20, Watching You stars Aisha Dee, Josh Helman, and Luke Cook in a gripping six-episode series that explores themes of privacy, relationships, technology, and human nature. The story follows Lina, who discovers that her intimate encounter in a friend’s rental property has been recorded by hidden cameras. As she unravels a web of threats and paranoia, Lina must confront a dangerous voyeur lurking closer than she ever imagined.

The show is adapted for television by creators Alexei Mizin and Ryan van Dijk, with production by Lingo Pictures’ Jason Stephens and Bree-Anne Sykes, and executive production by Helen Bowden. Directed by Peter Salmon and Sian Davies, Watching You promises to be a must-watch thriller.

So, mark your calendars for February 20 and get ready to be hooked on this edge-of-your-seat series that promises to keep you guessing until the very end.
