Prime Video’s Global Partnership Deal Spree: What’s Behind It
Amazon’s Prime Video has been making big moves in Europe, with new content deals announced this week. They recently partnered with M6+ in France and RTVE in Spain to offer members there a wide range of programming for free. And just yesterday, they shared that HBO Max will be available as an add-on subscription in Italy, Germany, and Austria in multiyear deals.
They’ve also launched new channels like ITV+ in the UK, RTL+ in Germany, French soccer streamer Ligue 1+ in France and the UK, and more across Europe. Andrew Bennett, the VP of international partnerships at Prime Video, gave insight into this partnership spree. He took on his role in 2025 and has been focused on expanding partnerships and strategy in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Stay tuned to see what’s next from Prime Video!
