Becky Lynch in ‘Star Trek: Fleet Academy’ Clip
WWE superstar Becky Lynch is making waves in the sci-fi world with a feature in the new “Star Trek: Fleet Academy” clip released by Paramount+. Lynch makes an appearance around the 1:58 mark.
“Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” is set to premiere on January 15 exclusively on Paramount+, with a new episode dropping every week through March 12. Fans can expect to see Paul Giamatti as part Klingon, part Tellarite, and Nus Braka, the season’s villain with a mysterious past linked to one of the cadets.
The show follows a group of fresh cadets training under the watchful eyes of Starfleet’s finest. Throughout the season, they will navigate the challenges of academy life, from forming unbreakable friendships to facing explosive rivalries and first loves, all while stepping into their destiny as the future generation of Starfleet officers. When a new enemy threatens the Academy and the Federation, these cadets must rise to the challenge to protect everything they’ve worked for.
The series stars Holly Hunter as the captain and chancellor of Starfleet Academy, alongside Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins, Bella Shepard, and Zoë Steiner. Additional cast members include Tig Notaro and Robert Picardo reprising their roles as Jett Reno and The Doctor, with guest stars Oded Fehr and Mary Wiseman making appearances as Admiral Vance and Sylvia Tilly, and recurring guests Gina Yashere and Paul Giamatti.
