Keke Palmer Stars in First Trailer for Peacock’s ‘The ‘Burbs’

Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall team up in Peacock’s new horror/comedy series, “The ‘Burbs.” This dynamic duo stars as a couple who quickly realize that suburban life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. The show, created, written, and executive-produced by Celeste Hughey, is a modern take on the 80s cult classic film of the same name starring Tom Hanks.

The official synopsis sets the scene for a thrilling ride: “A young couple reluctantly moves back to the husband’s childhood home. Their world gets turned upside down when a new neighbor shakes things up, revealing dark secrets and bringing deadly threats to their doorstep.”

In addition to Palmer and Whitehall, the series features an ensemble cast including Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, Justin Kirk, and Kapil Talwalkar. Executive producers like series writer Rachel Shukert and Seth MacFarlane are on board to bring this suburban nightmare to life.
