Jake Lacy analyzes final scene with Sarah Snook in All Her Fault

time with Peter Irvine ended at the close of the series, it felt like saying farewell to a long, complex relationship. “It’s such a journey with all those flashbacks,” he says, referencing a memorable scene between Peter and his onscreen son, Sadie (Phoenix Skye Ronayne). “The last scene I did with Sarah (Snook) was really, really special. The scene was as painful for both of us in real life as it is on screen,” he adds.
Lacy explains that Peter’s character is built on being “willfully ignorant.” “I’ve never been more frustrated by a character,” he muses. “But that’s what made it such a rewarding experience.” Reflecting on the series and its themes, Lacy admits, “It’s a show about parenthood, but it’s also about truth, trust, relationships and how we can keep things hidden from those we care about most.” If you haven’t watched “All Her Fault” yet, Lacy’s portrayal of Peter Irvine might just convince you to give it a try.
