Keke Palmer Stars in Peacock Series Based on ’80s Cult Classic: ‘The ‘Burbs’ Trailer

The upcoming Peacock series “The ‘Burbs” is bringing back memories of the ’80s cult classic film with its newly released official trailer. Set to premiere on Sunday, February 8, all eight episodes of this mystery comedy series promise to take viewers on a wild ride through present-day suburbia.

Starring Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall, the show follows a young couple who find themselves living in the husband’s childhood home. Their idyllic neighborhood is turned upside down when a new neighbor moves in, unearthing old secrets and bringing new dangers to light.

Joining the cast are familiar faces like Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar in regular roles. The series will also feature guest appearances from Haley Joel Osment, RJ Cyler, Justin Kirk, and more.
