This innovative tool is currently in beta and uses generative AI to compile clips, dialogue, and narration into short visual summaries.

The aim of Video Recaps is to provide viewers with a way to re-immerse themselves in the world of a series, especially as content libraries continue to expand. The feature is being tested on select Prime Originals, including the popular show “Jack Reacher,” with plans to expand support to more series in the future. When users navigate to a new season of a supported series, they will see a recap button on the show’s detail page, allowing them to choose between video recaps or text summaries based on their preferences.
