Tom Daley advocated for a significant change to Celebrity Traitors with producers

Tom Daley, the Olympic gold medallist, recently shared that he had a creative idea for “The Celebrity Traitors” but unfortunately, it didn’t quite stick. Tom appeared on the show as a Faithful contestant but was eliminated by Traitors Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns, and Alan Carr in episode three. He expressed his wish to the producers to bring back the first four eliminated players, suggesting a resurrection twist, but they decided against it.

Feeling a bit frustrated about not being chosen as a Traitor, Tom mentioned how intense the game can be, especially when you are not in control. As an athlete, he likes to have a sense of control and found it challenging to navigate the uncertainty of the game.

In addition to his on-screen experience, Tom shared that he was not allowed to wear items from his knitwear brand, Made With Love by Tom Daley, due to the show’s rules around self-promotion. He spent his downtime knitting in his hotel room, finding solace in this hobby. While he tried to get his fellow co-stars interested in a knitting lesson, they never quite found the time for it.

As the show approaches its final episodes, tensions rise as Faithful contestant Joe Marler makes a breakthrough in identifying the remaining Traitors. The finale is set to air on Thursday, November 6th, on BBC One. Don’t miss it to see who comes out on top in this thrilling competition!
