Disney+ to Begin Streaming ‘Freakier Friday’ on November 12
Disney+ will be adding a new movie to its lineup starting November 12th – it’s “Freakier Friday,” a comedy sequel with a twist. This time, it’s a mother/daughter body swap story starring Hollywood A-listers Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
If you loved the original “Freaky Friday” from 2003, you’re in for a treat with this follow-up film, which raked in an impressive $153.1 million at the global box office, with $94.2 million from North American screens alone. The 2003 movie did even better, earning $160.8 million worldwide.
But let’s not forget where it all began – the classic 1976 “Freaky Friday” with Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris. Back in the day, it brought in nearly $26 million. When you adjust for inflation, that’s about $137 million in today’s money.
Get ready to laugh, cry, and maybe even learn a thing or two about the craziness of family dynamics. Don’t miss “Freakier Friday” streaming soon on Disney+.
