Vinted & Lion Tie at Prime Fashion Show in London: Recap
Second-hand fashion platform, Vinted, has teamed up with Lion Television Scotland to bring us a fresh TV competition series called RE/style that highlights recycled design as the future of fashion.
Sponsored by Vinted, RE/style consists of six episodes and will showcase eight up-and-coming fashion designers from Italy, Spain, France, and the UK. These designers will compete to craft capsule collections and catwalk-ready looks using only second-hand items. The challenge is to finish their looks in just six hours, drawing inspiration from themes like adventure and nostalgia, reinventing wardrobe staples, and reimagining red carpet styles.
This series was co-developed with All3Media’s Lion Television Scotland and media agency Mindshare UK. It debuts on Prime Video in the UK in October 2025 and marks Vinted’s inaugural long-form branded content on Prime Video.
British presenter and former model, Emma Willis, leads the show as host, alongside expert judges Melissa Holdbrook-Akposoe and Zadrian Smith. The series will feature celebrity guests like Henry Holland, Stacey Dooley, Clara Amfo, Laura Whitmore, Vogue Williams, and Oliver Cheshire. The culmination will include model and activist Eunice Olumide and Vinted’s Jessie de la Merced as special judges.
Emma Willis expressed her excitement, saying hosting RE/style has been a fantastic journey back to her fashion roots. She commends the emerging designer’s talents and shares her thrill in discovering new ways to repurpose old outfits, inspiring audiences along the way.
The season finale will feature the two finalists revealing customized collections inspired by their standout looks on the show. The winner’s collection will be showcased during London Fashion Week. All profits from the sale of these items on Vinted will be donated to Oxfam.
Starting October 13th, fashion enthusiasts can purchase the items used by the designers to craft the show’s looks on Vinted. These exclusive items will be available on Oxfam’s Vinted page, with proceeds supporting the charity in the UK.
Lisa Hazlehurst, Head of Lion Television Scotland & Executive Producer, shares her joy in working with Europe’s budding talent in transforming pre-loved clothes into stunning runway collections. She praises the competition’s focus on creativity, passion, and the ethos of circular fashion – out with the new, in with the old! The prize of showcasing collections at London Fashion Week is a fantastic opportunity, and Lion Scotland is honored to collaborate with such a talented and inspiring group of individuals.
