Disney+ to Alter 5 MCU Characters for Cost-Saving Measures

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are in for a surprise with the upcoming Disney+ series Vision Quest. Marvel Studios is shaking things up by changing the appearance of five beloved characters to cut down on VFX costs. This move, while budget-friendly, is also sure to bring a fresh perspective to the show. Paul Bettany’s White Vision will be joined by a cast of AI characters in human form, including familiar names like Ultron, EDITH, JARVIS, FRIDAY, and Jocasta. These alterations will not only save money but also add an intriguing new dimension to the storyline.

James Spader will be reprising his role as Ultron, but this time, he’ll be portraying the character as a human. Ultron’s return is bound to have a significant impact, considering his history of creating Vision. EDITH, the augmented reality defense system, gets a human upgrade as well, with Emily Hampshire taking on the role. Similarly, JARVIS, Tony Stark’s original AI, will be embodied in human form by none other than Paul Bettany, who also plays White Vision. The addition of FRIDAY, Tony Stark’s second AI assistant, is also anticipated, although the actress set to play her remains unnamed. Finally, T’Nia Miller will bring Jocasta, an AI from Marvel Comics, to life in human form, introducing a new character and storyline to the mix.
