Disney+ Update: Major Change for Hulu and ESPN Subscribers

Disney has just announced that some changes are coming to Disney+ that will make it easier for subscribers who also have Hulu, ESPN, and more to access all their favorite content in one place.

Previously, Disney+ users could navigate between different franchises like Marvel and Star Wars, but now they can easily switch between Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN at the top hub of the app. This means sports fans can access their favorite content without needing a separate app.

In addition to the new hub setup, Disney+ is introducing a “for you” page that will gather all your favorite content in one convenient location. This makes it even easier to find the shows and movies you love on the platform.

These changes come on the heels of recent pricing updates for Disney+ and Hulu. Starting October 23, 2025, the cost of various subscription tiers increased. Here’s the breakdown of the new prices:

– Disney+/Hulu bundle (with ads): $11.99 (previously $9.99)
– Disney+ Premium (no ads): $18.99 (previously $15.99)
– Hulu standalone plan (with ads): $11.99 (previously $9.99)
– Hulu + Live TV: $89.99 (previously $82.99)

Disney is also planning to phase out the standalone Hulu app and consolidate all its streaming content under a single, unified Disney+ app. This move aims to streamline the user experience and make accessing Disney’s varied content more straightforward for subscribers.
