Marvel Studios Confirms 4 Disney+ Series Coming To NYCC 2025 Panel

Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel TV and animation, confirmed this exciting news during the first day of NYCC. The panel, titled “Up Next From Marvel Television and Marvel Animation,” promises to reveal fresh information about the following quartet of Disney+ series in the MCU.

One of the highly anticipated series set to be promoted at NYCC 2025 is Wonder Man. Winderbaum had a lot of positive things to say about the show, which is expected to be the MCU’s final release for 2025. It’s described as a unique story that delves into the journey of an actor in Hollywood, offering a meta take on Simon Williams’ life as a working actor in the MCU. The show will explore themes of balancing artistry with financial success and adjusting to life as a superhero.

Comparing Wonder Man to Apple TV’s popular series, The Studio, Winderbaum highlighted its sincere and craft-focused approach, emphasizing the personal journey of one actor in pursuit of their dreams. He praised the work of executive producer Destin Daniel Cretton and head writer Andrew Guest, teasing an intriguing storyline centered around Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery.

The show is expected to feature a two-hander dynamic between Williams and Slattery, showcasing their shared love for acting despite their distinct personalities. Winderbaum also touched on the show’s nod to classic superhero movies like Superman and Batman, hinting at the importance of legacy in Wonder Man’s narrative.
