Marvel Studios’ last Disney+ series of 2025 just got a boost with a familiar face from Spider-Man: No Way Home. The ripple effect of No Way Home continues to be felt throughout the MCU, especially after Tom Holland’s Peter Parker’s introduction to the multiverse. This impact has now made its way to Disney+ with Marvel expanding their storytelling to new dimensions on the streaming platform. Arian Moayed, known for his role as Department of Damage Control Agent Cleary in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Ms. Marvel, has been cast in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Wonder Man series on Disney+. Moayed is set to return as Agent Cleary, alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Simon Williams, in his third Marvel Studios project to date. While details about his character are being kept hush-hush, Deadline has confirmed Moayed’s involvement in Wonder Man. Agent Cleary first appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he worked for the Department of Damage Control, apprehending Peter Parker for his vigilantism. He made a subsequent appearance in Ms. Marvel (2022), where he was investigating Ms. Marvel’s activities. Wonder Man will follow Abdul-Mateen II’s Simon Williams on his journey through the glitzy world of Hollywood changing into the latest hero in the Marvel Universe. The series, which is set to debut on Disney+ in December 2025, is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest and will also feature Sir Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery. As fans eagerly anticipate Moayed’s portrayal in Wonder Man, they can expect to see his character evolve in new and exciting ways. Given his expertise in dealing with budding heroes within the Marvel Universe, many are intrigued to see how he will approach Simon Williams’ early adventures. With the premiere still several months away, details about the plot and cast of Wonder Man are scarce. However, as the release date draws closer and more information is revealed, fans can anticipate a full trailer that will shed light on Agent Cleary’s role and how it contributes to the action-packed narrative of Phase 6.
