BAFTA TV Awards 2025 Winners: Mr Loverman, Shōgun, Blue Lights

The BAFTA TV Awards 2025 were a hit with big winners like Mr Loverman, Shōgun, and Blue Lights taking home some major awards. The event, hosted by Alan Cumming from Avengers: Doomsday, went down at London’s Royal Festival Hall, and it was a night filled with glamour and recognition.

While shows like Baby Reindeer and Mr Bates Vs The Post Office grabbed one award each, it was Mr Loverman, Shōgun, and Blue Lights that really stole the show with their wins in key categories. Baby Reindeer’s Jessica Gunning snagged a win for her role as a deranged stalker, and Mr Bates Vs Post Office secured the Limited Drama award, adding to its already impressive nominations.

Blue Lights, the gripping BBC cop drama, took home the prize for Drama Series, while Shōgun, the epic Disney+ series, scored a well-deserved win in the International category.

The crowd at the Southbank Centre erupted in cheers when Lennie James and Ariyon Bukare from Mr Loverman bagged awards for Lead and Supporting Actor, respectively. And let’s not forget Marisa Abela, who triumphed in the Leading Actress category, beating out tough competition like Anna Maxwell Martin and Billie Piper.

It’s been an incredible year for these talented individuals, and their wins at the BAFTA TV Awards are definitely well-deserved. Congratulations to all the winners!
