Viu and iQIYI International Strike Streaming Bundle Deal for Southeast Asia

Viu and iQIYI International have teamed up to offer a new streaming subscription for viewers in Southeast Asia. The joint launch will cover Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia in the latter part of 2026. The collaboration was announced at the APOS conference’s “Inside View: The Future of Streaming in Greater Southeast Asia” session, where Viu CEO Janice Lee and iQIYI International president Yang Xianghua shared the stage. This partnership is a significant move for iQIYI International, marking their first cross-regional streaming alliance. Although financial details were not disclosed, the bundle will combine the diverse content libraries of both platforms into one subscription.

Viu brings to the table a range of Korean and Chinese dramas, Southeast Asian productions, Viu Originals, and Viu Shorts microdramas. On the other hand, iQIYI International offers premium Chinese and local originals, anime, variety shows, and its microdrama slate. The initial content lineup includes Viu Originals like “The Season” and “Kidnap Game,” Korean dramas such as “Love In Sync” and “Dream To You,” as well as Viu Shorts titles like “When Fish Swim to Land” and “I Became the Fake Heiress.” Subscribers will also gain access to iQIYI International’s “Pursuit of Jade,” “Speed and Love,” Thai original “Khemjira,” Indonesian drama “The Other Sister,” Malay drama “Griya,” and variety series like “Running Man Thailand.” Exciting upcoming titles like “Key to the Phoenix Heart” and “Overdo” are also on the horizon.
