“Widow’s Bay,” “Heated Rivalry,” and “Industry” top TCA Award Nominations
The 2026 Television Critics Association Awards are on the horizon, and leading the pack with five nominations each are three very unique shows. These include a comedy about a haunted town, a romantic drama set in the world of professional sports, and a series focused on London’s high finance scene.
Among the top nominees are “Widow’s Bay,” “Heated Rivalry,” and “Industry,” all vying for the coveted program of the year award, in addition to multiple nominations in various individual achievement categories.
Competing alongside these shows for the program of the year title are “The Comeback,” “Hacks,” “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” “The Pitt,” “Pluribus,” and “Shrinking.” Additionally, both “Heated Rivalry” and “Widow’s Bay” are contenders for the best new show award, facing off against shows like “Alien: Earth,” “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,” and more.
HBO and HBO Max lead the pack with the most nominations, totaling 30, closely followed by Apple TV with 20 nominations. Netflix and Disney+ also have a strong showing, netting 14 and 11 nominations, respectively.
