New Baz Luhrmann Elvis Movie Set to Premiere on Paramount+

Baz Luhrmann’s latest Elvis movie, titled EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert, is all set for its streaming release on Paramount+. After premiering earlier this year in IMAX to fantastic reviews, fans can finally mark their calendars for June 3, 2026, when the film will hit Paramount+ in the U.S. For our neighbors up north in Canada, the documentary will start streaming on July 24.

In a recent statement, Luhrmann expressed his excitement about the project, highlighting the incredible collaboration with Peter Jackson and the team at Park Road Post Production. Together, they unearthed a treasure trove of material that allowed them to showcase Elvis like never before.

EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert isn’t your typical documentary or concert film. It features rare footage of Presley from his iconic Las Vegas residency in the late 1960s through the 1970s, as well as never-before-seen 16mm footage from Elvis on Tour. The film also includes 8mm clips from the Graceland archives and previously unreleased recordings, giving fans a truly special viewing experience.

With a stellar 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert has become one of Luhrmann’s top-rated films. Originally premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025, the movie went on to earn over $23 million worldwide, with a significant portion of that revenue coming from the U.S.

This isn’t Luhrmann’s first project centered around the King of Rock and Roll; his 2022 feature film “Elvis” starring Austin Butler garnered eight Academy Award nominations. Looking ahead, the director’s next endeavor will focus on the legendary Joan of Arc, with Jenna Ortega set to star.

EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert is directed by Baz Luhrmann and produced by Sony Music Vision, Bazmark Films, and Authentic Studios. In the U.S., NEON is responsible for distribution, while Elevation Pictures will handle Canadian distribution.
