Elle Fanning’s Desires for Season Two of ‘Margo’s Financial Struggles’
Elle Fanning has had quite the journey when it comes to producing her own projects. Ever since her days on Hulu’s The Great, she’s been making big moves. But it was Margo’s Got Money Troubles that really changed the game for her. Not only does she star in the Apple TV series, but she also produced it alongside her sister Dakota under their Lewellen Pictures banner. Elle shared that playing the lead character, Margo, gave her a newfound level of confidence. “Playing Margo, I just had this confidence, and it was the most free I’d felt on a set. I wasn’t vain,” she says. “I didn’t feel like I was looking outside of myself thinking, what do I look like, or what are people going to think of this?”
Margo’s Got Money Troubles is based on Rufi Thorpe’s novel about a college student turned single mother who starts an OnlyFans account to make ends meet. The series was such a hit that it got renewed for a second season! Elle Fanning’s role in the show was no walk in the park – she had to do everything from breastfeeding to leading heartfelt conversations on-screen.
